  2. Fried food items Fried foods hand have been indicative of bad fatty substances, high cholesterol and disturbed blood flow. It therefore is harmful to consume fried food items while suffering from bipolar disorder.

  3. Excessive sugar Consuming a diet having high sugar can lead to obesity and excessive weight gain which can lead to even more depression.

  4. Alcohol Consumption of alcohol during bipolar conditions has also been proved to cause premature deaths of the consumers.

  5. Caffeine One major effect of caffeine on people suffering from bipolar disorder is that it causes sleep deprivation which causes uneasiness in patients. Apart from that it is also known to enhance irritability and anxiety.

  6. Food Items Having High Salt Concentrations A sudden increase and decrease in salt concentrations have been proved to be extremely detrimental for the patient’s health. Also, salt has been known to cause dehydration which can lead to further irritability and panics.
