  2. Foam has been around since the early 1940’s late 1930’s It has been used in various applications and today has a wide variety of uses. Polyurethane Foam is one of the most diverse Products that is used in many applications of home building. We use a 3LB Roofing foam that is denser than the average insulation foam.  There have been many forms of foam throughout the years, and it’s always improving.

  3. We have experimented with Different ways to apply spray foam to flat roofing substrates. Tar and gravel, Tpo, Epdm, and modified Bitumen (BUR), but have found that if we apply foam over another substrate that it leaves room for error because the substrate can fail and cause a leak.  We only apply foam directly to the wood decking this ensures a watertight bond between the foam and the house The only way for the roof to leak is for there to be a noticeable crack in the foam leading down to a cracking the decking. The advantage of foam is it’s extremely easy to repair and see what needs to be repaired.

  4. Adding spray foam to any home is a rewarding improvement to your property the added insulation to the freedom from worry. Foam will outlast any product on the market with the least amount of maintenance. As long as the foam is shielded from the uv rays of the sun with a silicone coating it will be the last roof you’ll ever install on your home.  Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) is regarded among the longest lasting types of roofing systems. Many SPF roofing systems have endured over 50 years with few signs of failing.
