Overview –DDG 1000 IDE LCB Logistics Configuration Baseline (LCB) • The single definitive indexing system through which all logistics planning and product development is conducted and developed • Defines the functional descriptions for the ship’s Functionally Significant Items (FSI) • Uses the Hierarchical Structure Code (HSC) to index each FSI • Includes consolidated data for all DDG 1000 partners • Includes reporting and data exchange capabilities to support LCB development and status • Links equipment configuration data to design data and related logistics information such as VFI, technical manuals, maintenance information, etc.
