  3. A Bad War • More soldiers were killed in the Civil War than in any other war in American history.

  4. President • Abraham Lincoln was president during the Civil War.

  5. Divided states • Eleven states fought for the confederacy and twenty-three for the union.

  6. Drum boys The Civil War was the last war to use drummer boys.

  7. Slavery • The big problem with slavery in the 1800’s was the South wanted it, and the North did not.
