Willamette River Initiative • Willamette River Initiative (WRI), 2008-2018; leveraging funds for 2 million dollar annual investments in habitat restoration, engaging over 40 organizations. • 2012 Thiess International Riverprize awarded from the International RiverFoundation; seed funding for Twinning Project development.

Restoration Practitioner Exchange 2 large exchanges of river restoration professionals and practitioners- 2016/2017. 7 individual exchanges: peer-to-peer learning, conferences, partnership planning sessions 2016-2019 University Student Internships 1 university internship exchange: 3 Laja forestry students visit Willamette for 3 months- spring 2018. Today, all students employed by Laja restoration partners Youth Migratory Bird Education Cornell Lab of Ornithology “BirdSleuth International” Curriculum-10 lessons --6+ classroom exchanges 3 dual language immersion schools, Corvallis & Albany 1 rural school, Santa Rosa Mountains, Guanajuato Twinning Partnership
