This text showcases the various activities carried out by our school, including a Fair Trade sale, visits to spread the message of Fair Trade, and learning about the vision of Pope Paul VI. We also engaged in Lenten activities, celebrated feast days, and learned about the Passion of Jesus.

Fair Trade Fortnight 2019 Our Fair Trade group organised a Banana and Cookie Sale during playtime at the end of Fair trade fortnight.
During Fair Trade Fortnight some of our R.E. learning had a focus on why we should support Fair trade and how this links to the vision of St Paul VI’s work on peace and justice.
The Fair Trade group visit Wroxham School to spread the message of Fair Trade.
Curriculum RE: Year 6 developing their understanding of Ash Wednesday as Mrs Dallan from the parish visited to show how the ashes for Ash Wednesday are made.
Year 4 sang at the Women’s World Day of Prayer at King Charles the Martyr in Potters Bar
Wednesday 6th March Ash Wednesday 2019 Our KS2 pupils attended Mass at OLSV on Ash Wednesday where they received the ashes on their foreheads as a visible sign of penance. During the 40 days of Lent, we remember the time when Jesus went into the desert to fast and pray before beginning his work for God.

Trip to Westminster 12th March 2019 Our Year 5 and 6 leaders took part in a meeting of Catholic and Jewish primary school children at Vaughan House, Westminster. They discussed the many different ways of supporting those less fortunate than ourselves and celebrated the contribution that Mary’s Meals has made to enabling children to enjoy a meal at school. .
Developing how we pray with Michael Oxendale, our Seminarian Michael worked with Reception, year 1 and 2.
Developing our understanding of the Stations of the Cross Year 3 and 4 visited our church to examine how the Stations of the Cross are displayed in our church.
St Patrick’s Day Celebration Morning Friday 15th March 2019 Year 3 led our St Patrick’s Day Celebration morning explaining how St Patrick was a follower of Jesus and led many people to believe in God.
The house captains from St Louise celebrated her feast day by retelling her life story in a special assembly.Extra play was given as a way of marking her special feast day.
Year 5 & 6 prepared the Liturgy for Mass in OLSV on the 19th March to celebrate the feast of St Joseph
Friday 22nd March 2019 The houses of St Louise and St Vincent organised a bring and buy sale for lunch time to raise money for our Lenten charities of Mary’s Meals and the AplasticAnemia Trust in remembrance of Amelia.
Year 3 & 4 prepared the Liturgy for Mass in OLSV on the 25th March to celebrate the feast of the Annunciation of the Lord
Friday 29th March 2019 The houses of St Francis and St Bernadette organised a Lenten Sports Challenge during lunch time to raise money for our Lenten charities of Mary’s Meals and the AplasticAnemia Trust in remembrance of Amelia.
Friday 29th March 7p.m.The Stations of the Cross A small group of year 4 pupils led the Stations of the Cross for the parish at the 7p.m. Service in the church. We adore you O Christ and we bless you for by your cross you have redeemed the world.
Sacrament of Reconciliation Wednesday 3rd April 2019 • Our KS2 children received the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Wednesday; thank you to Father Shaun and Father Dominic for giving us this opportunity.
