Integrates language, social development, and literacy instruction from the Voices Read Aloud and Voices Leveled Library. Focuses on argumentative, explanatory, and narrative writing Provides both short one week and long multi-week writing projects Provides ELL scaffolding

Voices Approach to Writing Instruction Literature Response:Daily written response to literature in read aloud component Writing Forms: Three to four one week writing lessons related to specific writing genre skills in writing component. Writing Projects: One two to three week project which builds on the literature, social development, and writing skill instruction in the preceding weeks.
