  3. IEEE Experience • I celebrate my 17th Anniversary of participating in 802 sessions this month. Over the course of the 17 years, I have served as • Vice-Chair of 802.11 for 4.5 years. • Chair: HT SG, TGmb • Secretary: TGf, TGn, TGmb • Treasurer • Outspoken TGnSync and JP Proposal Team leader • Member of the 802 Taskforce • Assisted Various Assignments – P&P, Counting, etc. • I have served as a member of the IEEE-SA • IEEE-SA Standards Board (3rd year) • NesCom, PatCom, RevCom, ProCom • Senior Member of the IEEE Jon Rosdahl, CSR

  4. View of Committees • Standards committees are a tool to create needed Standards. • If we work as a group to fulfill the requirements of the consumers in the marketplace, we, as a unified group, can produce standards that meet industry needs. Jon Rosdahl, CSR

Officer Expectations 2 yrs ago, I ran on these premises • The IEEE 802.11WG members should choose officers that would be able to facilitate the Working Group to provide standards that would fulfill the requirements of the consumers in marketplace. • The committee is a tool to get to the goal • WG leaders are here to serve the WG.
