Established in 2002, the center offers specialized training for public finance management. With a range of courses, workshops, and facilities, the center aims to enhance the skills of specialists in the field.

History • 2002 – Memorandum signed between US and Armenian Governments to constitute a Training Center as a public non-commercial entity. • 2003 – Reconstruction and equipment of 2 class-rooms and a computer-room. Training courses -1, trainers -2, participants-180 • 2004 -2005 Reconstruction and equipment of 3 class-rooms. Handouts. Training courses-5, trainers-7, participants-662 Training Center, MoF Armenia
History • 2006 – 2008 An experimental distance learning course elaborated. Draft manuals prepared (including electronic ones). Development of practical and enhanced workshops. Training courses -11, trainers -17, participants -1850 . • 2009 – 2013 Drafting new courses and methodologies, testing and examination of specialists. Target Groups and Participants • Over 60 public entities and agencies • 10 regions – Marzpetaran • 1815 public non-commercial entities • Local authorities –over 900 Number of potential participants – up to 7 000, Status range of participants – from assistants to deputy ministers • Participation of non-public entities is allowed for a fee.
