  2. History • 1971 • Foundation of the state-owned company for the construction of metro-underground in Prague • During its history Metrostav executed more than 60 km metro lines in Prague and nearly 60 metro stations

  3. History • 1991 • State-owned company transformed into joint-stock company and then privatised • 1989 - 2000 • Company transformed into universal construction company • 2000 – 2010 • Further development of the company, growing number of daughter companies, increasing yearly turnover and profit
