Graphics – Picture Toolbar • From File • display the image selection window and allow you to change the image. • Filter • modify the image by several predefined effects, such as sharpening, smoothing, aging, etc. • Graphics Mode • allow to make the image grayscale, black and white, or a watermark. • Color • modify the RGB value, brightness, contrast and gamma of the image • Transparency • modify the transparency of the image. • Flip Horizontally/Vertically • Flip the image horizontally or vertically. • Frame Properties

Graphics – AutoShapes • Freeform Line • Draw a line with freeform shape or other predefined shapes. • Vertical Text • Write text in vertical. • Callouts • Draw speech and thought bubbles, and line call outs. The texts in vertical callouts are in vertical. • Basic shapes • Many two- and three-dimensional shapes, icons, braces, and brackets. • Block arrows • Many types of two- and three-dimensional arrows. • Flow chart • Add flow chart elements. • Stars • Draw stars, bursts, banners, and scrolls. • More shapes and settings • Set the toolbar to have more options.
Working with Paragraphs • Format commands: • Format > Paragraph • Alignment • Left justified • Right justified • Centered • Justified • Indentation • Before text indent • After text indent • First-line indent

Create a table Table > Insert > Table Icon on the bar (4 x 5) Press Tab key moving around cells Select row/column Table > Select > Row or Column or Table Tables
Tables • Adding row/column • Adding a row at the bottom (simplest way) Press Tab key at the down-right cell • Adding row/column at the middle Table > Insert > Rows or Columns • Deleting row/column • Table > Delete > Rows or Columns
Tables • Moving and resizing a table • Moving: four-sided moving arrow • Resizing: open box • Cell dividers, table properties • Merging/Splitting cell • Table > Merge or Split
Tables - Converting • Converting text to a table • A delimiter such as a comma, paragraph marker, or tab must separate columns of text • Hard Enter should not be pressed until the end of your text. Example: Color, Style, Item, Blue, A980, Van, Red, X023, Car, Green, YL724, Truck, Name, Age, Sex Bob, 23, M, Linda, 46, F, Tom, 29, M
Tables - Sort • Sorting a table • Sort on 1st key, 2nd key, 3rd key • Table > Sort Example: Sort the table data by Region and within Region by Salesperson in ascending order
Tables - Calculation • Calculation • Performed on either rows or columns • Sum function • Add a new row/column for result • Choose Table > Formula from the menu. • Type =SUM(ABOVE) in the formula field
