  1. 5th foundation • Firm Commitment: Beloved in the Lord, in the past years, many have defined their relationship with God from their perspective. With the false doctrines of teachers and some churches, the church and its members have been transformed into a social club. We are in the end times and it still means nothing to many despite the visible signs. • No one has an excitement to serve • you must come to a point with God where your life and every step depends on him. Today we become birds without a nest. If we have to be blessed, we must pledge our firm commitment to God. it shall speak in the heavens, Acts chapter 9:36 • You must move from level of mere obedience to live in covenant

  2. Challenges in America • In America, instead of Christians running behind the word or church, the men of God beg for people to come to church. They have to be enticed with roasted meat(babicue), false prophecies

  3. People who rob God • Christians but never tithe or tithe when they want. Malachi 3:8….

  4. Commitment challenges • The greatest challenge the church has today is to have committed members. Its a demonic spell casted by the enemy to blind the eyes of Christians. It takes them out of their visions, and callings and shows them the bondage they live in. It is shocking to see a church of 3000 people and when you go for bible study, they are not up to 100.

  5. God sets a standard for 2012 • But as we have entered this year, it is a year that will be glorious for those who shall make a firm commitment to God. This means you must distinguish your self from the crowed. • God shall separate those he calls his own and uplift them and bless them and cause them to leave in rest.

  6. HOW CAN YOU GET INTO A FIRM COMMITEMENT WITH God • 1.) Enter into a covenant relationship with God. • Psalms 50:5 Gather to me my consecrated ones, who made a covenant with me by sacrifice.“ • WHY Psalm 4:3 Know that the LORD has set apart the godly for himself; the LORD will hear when I call to him. Exodus 2:14 God remembered his covenant with Abraham, • Psalms 105:8, psalms 111:5

  7. How to enter a Firm commitment with God • 2.)Remain consecrated ( set apart for him) • Live a holy and righteous life. • I Corinthians 10:31 says, “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God” (ESV). Colossian 3:17And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

  8. Firm commitment • 3.)Be where God wants (divine positioning)you to be Ruth 1:13/21 be in his will, my sheep years my voice and do my will john 10:27

  9. Firm commitment • 4.) Honor God with sacrifice. There is no love without sacrifice. time money • Sacrifice means go out of your way to please God. especially when you have nothing( inspite of the economy) • God is moved by not sacrifice of heart but of substance. When he smells it it moves him to act in your direction

Firm commitment. • 5.)Serve the Lord • Context<<Exodus 23>>New American Standard Bible 25“But you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water; and I will remove sickness from your midst. 26“There shall be no one miscarrying or barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days. 27“I will send My terror ahead of you, and throw into confusion all the people among whom you come, and I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you. 28“I will send hornets ahead of you so that they will drive out the Hivites, the Canaanites, and the Hittites before you. 29“I will not drive them out before you in a single year, that the land may not become desolate and the beasts of the field become too numerous for you. 30“I will drive them out before you little by little, until you become fruitful and take possession of the land.
