If you have the name of a case, type in the parties
Click to retrieve the case
Print or email the case Citations Read the case
If you are looking for a case but are not sure of the names of the parties or how they will appear
Click on Legal Research
Select the Appropriate jurisdiction
Click on the Appropriate state
Type in the names. Use this format Name Pre/# name Lorenzana pre/5 Superior This finds Lorenzana within 5 words of Superior in this order if you want one name before the other. If you are not sure of the order, then Use “with” Name w/# name Lorenzana w/5 superior Finds Lorenzana within 5 words In any order Change the date box appropriately
These are not the Lorenzana case but Probably cite to it. Look at the case.
Use the find feature to look for the name of the case
Click on the Edit button And click on Find

One can now go to the Basic Legal Research Page and search by citation, 9 Cal. 3d 626
Type in the citation and change the button Type in the citation
Now the right case has been retrieved
