How copy a block of data from Input spreadsheet and paste it in another location. • Copy and Paste data in another part of the spreadsheet. • Selecting the range of piping. • And renumbering the new piping with ease. • This will speed up the modeling work.
I would like to add another branch pipe down to a Fifth Pump. Branch at Node Point 123.
Copy the piping from Node point 45 to Node Point 70, including the stanchion. Copy piping from 45 to 70. Including the stanchion.
Follow the Steps. Edit. Copy.
Follow the Steps. Edit. Paste.
Follow the Steps. Select your range of piping to be attached at Node Pt. 123. Remember your first point of the copied piping is Node Point 45. Notice that your start number has been chosen for you.
Note that a branch pipe has been added down to a Fifth Pump.
Note that the Block of Data from the Spreadsheet has been copied to another part of the Spreadsheet.
Zooming in we see the Fifth Pump pipe branch. The branch piping has been added to Node Point 123 as requested.
