Location • Rises in Cuenca • Flows into the Mediterranean Sea.
Tourism • There’s not a lot of tourism. • There is a route by ship. • There’s also a lot of canoeing in the zone.
RIVER EXPLOITATION The population have exploited the river since Roman time for different uses like salt mines, crops, hot Springs, arabic water system and transport of logs by the river. Currently, in the Júcar there is an hydroelectric power plant and the Cofrente`s nuclear power station uses the water of the Júcar to produce electricity.
