  2. In-Place System • The System in place for the AUS Health center is a manual management system. How the system presently functions: • When a patient comes his/her information will be filled out in a form • The receptionist will put the record in the file system • The receptionist will forward the current file to the attending doctor/nurse • The attending doctor /nurse will make changes • The file will be returned to the receptionist to store in the file system

Problems with Current System • The problems with the current system are: • Tedious due to manual coordination requirements between the users • Gives room for human errors • Lack of privacy and security as everyone has access to all data • Misplacing a file or an emergency such as fire or natural disaster will result in permanent loss of records

  4. Our System • Software Implementation of Manual System. Contains all basic functionalities such as: • Adding patients • Updating patients’ data • Storing Staff data • Storing all required data and reproducing them on request • Provide a platform for making appointments for patients • Provide a platform to make schedules for doctors
