PURPOSE • NALCOMIS provides O-level, I-level and ASD activities with a • modern, real time, responsive computer based management • information system. The three objectives of NALCOMIS are to • increase aircraft readiness by providing local maintenance, • provide supply managers with timely and accurate information • required in their day-to-day management and decision making • process to reduce the administrative burden on the fleet, and • improve the quality of upline reported data.
GENERAL INFORMATION • The Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management • Information System (NALCOMIS) Intermediate Maintenance • Activity (IMA) provides aviation maintenance and material • management with timely, accurate, and complete information on • which to base daily maintenance and supply decisions.
