What does the animal eat? Rattlesnakes can eat a lot of different animals. Rattlesnakes eat birds, lizards, and small animals. They can also bite medium sized animals.
Where does the animal live? Rattlesnakes live in desserts in North America and South America. They can live up to thirty years of life. They sometimes live in jungles.
What are the animal’s physical adaptations? Rattlesnakes can camouflage as sticks, rocks and woodchips. They’re mostly 2 – 8 ft. long. They have scales that are dry that gives rattlesnakes their patterns. They also have very sharp and deadly fangs.
What are the animal’s behavioral adaptations? Rattlesnakes can paralyze or poison a person. They stay under rocks during the day and mostly hunt at nighttime.
Interesting Facts People can hear a rattlesnake’s rattle long before they see them. They can have up to 30 babies at one time.
