Vocabulary • Bleached- dyed • He bleached his hair blond in the front. • Carcasses- bodies of dead animals • The island was covered with the carcasses of the animals.

Spelling • Rule: • Use –ance when the first part of the word has meaning • Attend + ance • Use –ence when the first part of the word has NO meaning • Evid + ence
