THIS DOES NOT MATTER. You will be working on the skills YOU need to work on in class.

  8. SHARING THE ROOM • This is a large room shared by A LOT of students. • Inside voice levels at all times. • You need to stay in your teacher’s area at all times. • STAY IN YOUR LANE!

  9. BATHROOM • You are expected to use the restroom between classes. • You may not leave the class during the first 10 minutes or last 10 minutes of class. • If you have a true emergency, give an Out of Class pass to your teacher and wait for a reply. If approved, get the appropriate badge to exit the classroom. You have 9 class passes per 9 weeks to use. Follow this procedure for leaving the classroom at any time. • Remaining passes will be put into a drawing at the end of each 9 weeks! • Your teacher reserves the right to deny requests depending on behavior, frequency, and time.

  10. WATER ONLY • You may drink water in class. NO OTHER FOOD OR DRINK IS ALLOWED. • Clear water and water bottles only.

  11. COMING INTO THE ROOM When you arrive, get your notebook or folder and check your teacher’s board. Have a seat at the appropriate area and begin working. Remember we share a room so please be respectful of that. If you are tardy, sign the tardy list and begin working. Look for your teacher’s name!

  12. TIME TO LEAVE Your teacher dismisses you. We NEVER wait at the door for dismissal. Remain seated at your desk or work area until dismissed by your teacher.

  13. PENCIL POLICY Please come prepared with a pencil each day. NO PENS IN MATH! If you need one, you may borrow one from your teacher’s cup and return it at the end of class. Don’t abuse this privilege!

  14. EMERGENCY ALARMS NO TALKING. Listen for directions. For FIRE ALARMS we exit the back door, turn left, and walk past the parking lot to the grassy area.

  15. GUM Gum is not allowed. Put it in the trash if asked to do so.

  16. CELL PHONES Cell phones are to be put away for this class unless told by your teacher to get them out.

  17. GRADING POLICY • You will receive a “P” for Progressing or “NP” for not progressing based on your progress monitoring and work in class.

  18. SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS • Be welcoming and helpful and follow the substitute’s directions. • You are expected to behave EVEN BETTER THAN YOU NORMALLY DO when a substitute is in the classroom. • Remember, the other teachers in the room are still here and in charge.

  19. OTHER PROCEDURES

  20. Goals we have for you…. • To have a well-organized and safe working environment for all students. • To show you that what you put into your work is what you will get out of it. With hard work and effort - anything is possible. • To help you learn to accept consequences for your actions.
