  2. Glucose is also referred to as blood sugar, blood glucose, or urine glucose. The purpose to check the glucose is to analyze if the sugar level in the blood is maintained at a required level. The glucose test also help the doctor to analyze and diagnose the parameters such as prediabetes, diabetes, high level of glucose (hyperglycemia), low level of glucose (hypoglycemia), and glucose level in the urine.
