  12. ONLINE SUPPORT FORUMS – Group members communicate with each other and you. Set up a forum for each group. Assign a percentage of each week’s grade for forum contributions. Check and clear messages each week. Encourage meaningful forum messages.

  13. ONLINE SUPPORT CHAT – Maintain virtual office hours using online chat. Disable or discourage personal email. Use mass emails only for very important events. Encourage the use of communication through the group forums and shared work spaces.
