Folded Flying Geese Created by AlicjaWygas based on the method by Lynn Edwards
Step 1 Select two fabrics: one for the goose, one for the sky Cut strip 2” wide from each of the fabrics Cut 3.5” rectangle for the goose Cut two 2” squares for the sky Folded flying geese based on Lynn Edwards method produced by Alicja Wygas
Step 2 Fold the goose rectangle in half with wrong sides facing Folded flying geese based on Lynn Edwards method produced by Alicja Wygas
Step 3 Place folded goose on top of one sky square right sides facing ensuring that all the raw edges are align. The folded side of the rectangle will be offset by ¼” from left edge of the square Folded flying geese based on Lynn Edwards method produced by Alicja Wygas
Step 4 Place second sky square on folded rectangle with right side down, matching the edges of the other sky square exactly Folded flying geese based on Lynn Edwards method produced by Alicja Wygas
Step 5 Pin along the edge where rectangle is shorter by ¼” Folded flying geese based on Lynn Edwards method produced by Alicja Wygas
Step 6 Sew along the pinned edge. Please remove the pins as you are sewing along before machine reaches them. (You can damage sewing machine if the needle hits the pin or break the needle!) Folded flying geese based on Lynn Edwards method produced by Alicja Wygas
