NCI – CQIE Program National Cancer Institute Roles: • Committed funding to support CQIE development of qualification guidelines and the process to qualify cancer centers • NCI will maintain oversight for the project • Will serve as a liaison to the cancer center community NCI CQIE – Centers of Quantitative Imaging Excellence Program
NCI – CQIE Program ACRIN Roles: • Development and dissemination of the CQIE qualification requirements and managing the qualification process • Maintain a Manual of Procedures (MOP) to serve as a resource for participating cancer centers • Develop and maintain the training curriculum • Provide assistance with obtaining phantoms NCI CQIE – Centers of Quantitative Imaging Excellence Program

NCI – CQIE Program Site Roles • Cancer centers will need to execute the CQIE Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) • Each site is asked to identify a project leader to serve as the primary point of contact with ACRIN • Project leader will help coordinate and oversee the qualification activities at the site NCI CQIE – Centers of Quantitative Imaging Excellence Program
NCI – CQIE Program Site Roles • Active participation and an ongoing commitment from all three imaging modalities (MR, CT and PET). • Completion of on-line learning modules • Submission of the required test case images • CQIE specified phantom scans • Attest to required ongoing Quality Control (QC) activities NCI CQIE – Centers of Quantitative Imaging Excellence Program
