Dynamic Messages Available in Australia, Canada, India & U.S. Enterprise Tier
Dynamic Messages • Dynamic Messages allow travel managers to communicate important information by sending relevant and targeted messages to travelers at the most important point in the booking process
A New Way to Communicate to Travelers • Travelers get the information they need, when they need it • Allows travel managers to send messages to travelers at the most relevant point, whether to influence purchasing behavior while booking or providing travel-relevant information on the itinerary • Targeted messaging delivered to travelers on topics which matter most to the company • Messages can be targeted by various departure and destination parameters and be specific to flights, hotels, or car rental
A New Way to Communicate to Travelers • Strategic Messaging • Promote preferred vendors, enforce travel policies, provide important security alerts, or communicate destination-specific transportation information • Increased Communication • Provides one more way for travel managers to communicate with travelers at relevant and targeted points in the booking process and on itineraries • Enhanced Policy Enforcement • Companies have the ability to strategically place messages within the booking process to further promote policy adherence
Traveler View Example • For a traveler, the message will display as a pop-up in the booking path • There is no limit to the number of messages that can be set up
Change in Broadcast Message View • The new broadcast message setup page is changing for all tiers • Easier to use as every configuration can be achieved by checking one radio button, rather than multiple checkboxes • All the configuration options in the current view are included in the new configuration

Dynamic Messages: Configuration • Step 1: Decide where you want the Dynamic Message to display for the traveler
Dynamic Messages: Configuration • Step 2: Decide what audience of travelers should get the messages • Set the rules to control when the targeted message will appear in the booking process and / or on the itinerary
Dynamic Messages: Configuration • Step 3: Add Rules to Target Message Being Delivered • Adding a rule: • Select the location rule you want to use • Enter in the parameters • Click “ADD RULE”
Messages & Links New Sort Order All broadcast & dynamic messages are listed in the new order: Urgent Links (Urgent links will always display before urgent messages, regardless of date) Urgent Messages (Urgent messages will never display before urgent links, regardless of date) Non-Urgent Links (Non-Urgent links will always display before urgent messages, regardless of date) Non-Urgent Messages (Non-Urgent messages will never display before urgent links, regardless of date) Example order of messages posted: Urgent Link: New Sort Order Message Instructions, date posted 3/1 Urgent Message: Dynamic Message is Here, date posted 3/15 Non Urgent Link: Old Travel Messages, date posted 3/5 Non Urgent Message: Travel Guidelines, date posted 3/6
Dynamic Messages Specific Message Configuration Information for Air, Hotel, Car
Air Targeted Messages For Air, messages can be targeted to: Departure airport Arrival airport Travel between airports (city pairs) Country Domestic International Special Tips: Airport codes (EWR, JFK, LGA) and metro codes (NYC) are both supported. Each message can have multiple geographies associated with it (i.e.. same message to LAX and SFO). To set up a message for ALL searches, add both domestic and international to a message.
Hotel Targeted Messages For hotel, messages can be targeted to: City – Specific city and not the surrounding area City and Vicinity – City and surrounding area Country Domestic International
Rental Car Targeted Messages For rental cars, messages can targeted to: Pick up airport Drop off airport Country Domestic International

Promote preferred carriers on certain routes You may have a negotiated rate for SFO – ORD and LAX – JFK on United • Message header: Book United Airlines • Message text: Your company’s travel policy mandates the use of United Airlines on this route. We have a special negotiated rate on United and you must book United in order to get reimbursed. • Flight message: • Display for some locations • On flight results • Travel between airports • Add Rules • SFO : ORD and/or LAX : JFK
Communicate travel protocols A company might want to communicate special security procedures for travelers going to a specific destination. Message header: Important information for travel to Country A. Message text:Following the civil unrest in Country A, all business travel to the region has been cancelled.
