  3. Diffusion: • Diffusion (also known as molecular diffusion) is a net transport of molecules from a region of higher concentration to a region of lower concentration by random molecular motion. • در این فرآیند یون ها و مولکول ها به علت تفاوت در غلظت شان انتقال می یابند.

  5. Concentration Gradient. • The difference in concentrations is the concentration gradient. • اگر نمودار غلظت(C) نسبت به مکان( X) ترسیم شود، نمودارغلظت بدست می‌آید که شیب آن توسط رابطه زیر بدست می آید. • در حالت پایدار، نمودار خطی می‌باشد و داریم:
