This Erasmus Intensive Programme, called INNO-FOREST, aims to integrate innovation and entrepreneurship research into higher forestry education. Participants will learn about innovation strategies in the EU, including the EU Lisbon Strategy, Common Agricultural Policy, and Forest policy. The programme will include lectures, workshops, seminars, and case studies to develop participants' own innovation plans. The long-term results will include a developed and tested curriculum, learning materials, case study reports, and improved competitiveness in the European forest sector.

Long term results • This IP develops and tests new curriculum and teaching materials and methods for regular higher forest education curricula at European level. • The regional and/or sector innovation systems develop by adapting the faster transfer for knowledge from research into practise by means of education and real work cases. • Better knowledge based competitiveness in forest sector in Europe.
