Manatee County Sheriff’s Office Making a difference in our community

The Manatee County Sheriff's Office is a unique law enforcement agency that houses both the criminal and dependency functions of child welfare. They are the first in Florida to take over Child Protective Investigations, working closely with units focused on sex offenders, crimes against children, domestic violence, school resources, and child protection services. With approximately 20% of the population being children, the sheriff's office is committed to protecting their future. They also collaborate with faith-based organizations to make a true difference in the community.
