Geography • The Rocky mountains because they are still growing and they are not rounded they are pointed! • Old faithful because it is in the most beautiful park and there are lots of animals! • The great salt lake because it is close to 5 billion tons of salt and it is saltier than any ocean! • The san Luis valley in Colorado is one of the driest places in the mountain states!

3. climate • In the fall it is cold and cool • In the summer it is varied hot/ cool • In the spring it is cool and warm • In the winter it is cold and very freezing

4. Industry • Ranching because the wide open space in Wyoming and Montana are good for cattle • Mining because people need the money • Service industry because it is very important especially as more and more people visit the region each year • Technology industry because the Sun Dance festival attracts 1000’s of people each year

5. Culture • You can go to fairs, parades, dancing competitions and rodeos • Their langue is English • The people that live there are native Americans and Americans • Varied because it could be anything

6. Attractions • Kennecott copper mine because it is important so people can get rich • Great salt lake because people can swim in it without sinking and it has more salt than any ocean • Yellow stone because it is a national park and lots of animals live there and there are lots of beautiful sites • Pikes peak because it is the 6thhighest peak in the mountain states

7. Fun facts • The rocky mountains stretch from new Mexico to Alaska that is more than 1,000 miles!!!!!!!!!!! • The mountain state region has a small population with many native Americans influences
