  2. What are the most important things that make a class successful? How would students answer? Which of these do we have control over? Which are emergent?

  6. What makes a class successful? Five categories of factors mentioned: • Instructor traits and behaviors • Student traits and behaviors • Course content (e.g. topics and assignments) • Course delivery (e.g. pedagogy and style) • Outcomes (e.g. grade received)
