Input.. • Tempering vat • Quenching oil • Belt grinder • Leather rings • Plastic rings • Prong metal disk • Hydraulic clamp • Heavy lacquer
Process • Steel bar is loaded into an induction furnace • Steel becomes malleable and is shaped • Sent to a punch cutter, which trims the excess steal • The shape is fine tuned in a press • Then placed on a revolving cooling rack • Loaded into tumbler to remove blemishes • Abrasive belts contour the head • Cutting wheel cuts a waffle into the head
Process.. • Hammers are dipped in a tempering vat • And then dipped into to a cooling vat • Finishing polish • Leather rings are assembled together • The hammer is inserted into the rings • Then a hydraulic punch pushes them together • Leather is smoothed out • Dipped in lacquer
Feedback • Hammers were the first tool and they are still in use today and they will be around forever which proves they are very useful and necessary to our civilization.
