DOS ROLLBACK ELIGIBILITY • Eligibility Criteria • SMSgt or below • 14 yrs AD or less, or 20 yrs or more a/o 20 Sep 13 • Date of Separation (DOS) of 31 Aug 13 or later for retirees 20 Sep 13 or later for separatees • Possess one or more of the following: • Reporting Identifiers (RI) – 9A100, 9A200 • Reenlistment Eligibility (RE) Codes – 2X, 3D/3E or 4F/4H/4I • Assignment Availability Codes (AACs) – 09,10, 12, or 16 • Grade Status Reason (GSR) – 4B or 4F
COMMANDER OPTIONS • Commanders • Retain Airmen – Commanders will annotate on roster provided by the MPS of their decision it must state to “retain” • Separate Airmen • Commanders will annotate on the roster provided by the MPS to “Separate-accomplished AF Form 418” • May execute early SRP consideration
DOS ROLLBACK • General Guidance • Mandatory DOS is 31 Aug 13 for retirees, 20 Sep 13 for separatees • Retirement date NLT 1 Sep13 • Unearned portions of education assistance funds, special pay, bonuses will not be recouped • Airmen with greater than 6 yrs and less than 20 yrs AD are authorized separation pay • Must agree to serve 3 yrs in the IRR • Airmen with 180 days or more AD are authorized TAP benefits • Refer to the PSDM for complete criteria and procedural guidance
KEY DATES!! • 7 Jun 13: AFPC releases Eligibility Rosters to the FSS/MPS’ • 12 Jun 13: FSS/MPS verify eligibility rosters & notify Commanders (CCs), First Sergeants (CCFs), Career Assistance Advisors (CCAs) • 21 Jun 13: CCs must complete (date and sign) AF Form 418, Section III, NLT 21 Jun 13, to deny reenlistment and separate eligible Airmen • NLT 5 Aug 13: AFPC updates mandatory DOS for all Airmen identified under DOS Rollback Program • NLT 7 AUg13: AFPC posts final roster of Airmen identified under the DOS Rollback Program
