Mission Statement Provide an interactive, customer-driven forum within the consumer goods industry for Oracle’s community of users to engage in discussions pertinent to Oracle, Demantra and Siebel deployments
Objectives • Share lessons learned and best practices in implementing and sustaining Oracle applications used to support the following process areas: • Trade Promotion Management and Optimization • Category Management • Retail Execution • Customer Volume Planning • Demand Planning and Forecasting • Marketing ROI Management
Objectives (continued) • Identify strategic trends in functionality and business process that will allow customers to more effectively achieve business objectives • Validate and provide input to strategic direction of Oracle application functionality • Compile common requirements and submit to Oracle Corporation for future releases (working within current OAUG enhancement system and Oracle Corporation enhancement processes)
Member Benefits • Opportunity to network and establish relationships with other leaders within the Oracle Consumer Goods community and with key Oracle Corporation contacts • Ability to lower total cost of ownership by sharing advice on implementing, deploying and maintaining Siebel solutions • Opportunity to gain early insight into Oracle product development strategy
Membership • Membership of the Special Interest Group will be by invitation only to both business and technical individuals • Typical members might include Business Leaders, Functional Architects, Product Managers, and Technical Architects

Steering Committee • Nominate two to four members to form the Steering Committee • Members serve a two year term, staggered to provide continuity and fresh ideas
SIG Committee Chairperson Tasks • Primary person to communicate with SIG • Oversee all operations of SIG • Lead the SIG Committee • Organize Committee virtual meetings at least once between each SIG meeting • Keep website current with agendas and presentations (could be performed by any role after 1st year) A one to two year rotational assignment depending on applicability to person’s job assignment
Vice Chairperson Tasks • Coordinate topics for meetings • Provide presentation outlines for each topic • Distribute outlines A one to two year rotational assignment depending on applicability to person’s job assignment
Secretary Tasks • Record meeting minutes • Obtain updates to SIG member list at each meeting A one to two year rotational assignment depending on applicability to person’s job assignment
General Committee Members Tasks • Attend Committee meetings • Assist in planning meeting topics • Act as company focal for each meeting ensuring: • Invites reach appropriate people • Updates to SIG member list are provided to secretary Open to all interested Siebel customers and partners
