Internal Conflict • The character struggles against his or her own morals, beliefs, desires, weaknesses, etc. • Character vs. Self
External Conflict • The character struggles against another character or force beyond himself or herself. 2. Character vs. Character 3. Character vs. Society 4. Character vs. Environment (nature) 5. Character vs. Unknown (Supernatural)
