The School of Business • Majors Programs • Business, Marketing, Finance, Accounting or Sports Management Various business related and other minors available. • Accounting students take the additional courses needed to sit for the CPA exam at the grad level – earning a B.S. and M.B.A. in 5 years. • Internships get students practical experience before starting a career. • The MBA Program Students can obtain their bachelor’s degree in one of the areas of business and their MBA in Management, Marketing or Accounting in one extra year if they decide to do so.

Admissions Steps Step 1: Complete Your College Application. Use the Common App online at www.stac.edu Step 2: File your 2012 Tax Returns Complete the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
Admissions Acceptances • Average HS grades for all applicants: 85 or a 3.0. • Average SAT Scores: 1040 on 2 parts; 1560 on 3. • ACT average is 21. • College transfers to STAC: GPA average is a 3.0. • Submit all materials by 2/15 for best Scholarship consideration. • Rolling Admissions thereafter. • We will provide a financial aid snapshop and then an official Notification of Award once you complete the FAFSA.
Financial Aid Packaging • St. Thomas Aquinas College Costs • 2013-14 Tuition & Fees: $26,340 • 2013-14 Room & Board: $11,300 • Total for both: $37,640. • Most Scholarship eligible students are awarded up to $13,000 in Merit and Housing Aid bringing the cost down to $24,640. • A Student Loan of $5,500, lowers the family obligation to under $20,000 for a student’s tuition, fees, room and board. • The $37,640 is lower than 95% of the private colleges in the region. • The $24,640 is just $4,000 more than a SUNY and less than a NJSU. • Use the Net Price Calculator on any college web site. It will show you your total costs and all scholarships, federal and state aid available to you and should be accurate based on the information you entered.
Financial Assistance • Honors Program • full tuition scholarship • includes Summer Study at Oxford University in England. • HS recalculated average is 91+ and SAT (2 parts) is 1200+ or ACT score is 27. Program is nearly full. All new applications as of 2-1-13 will be on a waiting list for fall 2013. • Academic Scholarships from $5,000 to $13,000 per year. • 2.7 - 4.0 GPA range with a 1000 on SAT (2 parts). • Exceptions made based on overall application.
Financial Assistance Program • St. Thomas offers a NYS HEOP Program, which partners with the College and offers substantial need based awards to students who meet the criteria. • Academically, below a 2.5 HS GPA; less than a 1350 total on SAT; and FAFSA EFC level of 0 are the basic requirements to be considered for the NYS HEOP Program at St. Thomas Aquinas College.
Athletic Scholarships Q: Is it hard to get an athletic scholarship? A: At the Division II level, there are many opportunities to play your sport for a partial scholarship.
Financial Aid Notices Q: When will I find out how much the College will cost my family? A: We will award your academic scholarship at acceptance. Any further aid from the college, state, or federal government will be estimated after you complete the financial aid process in February 2013.
