  14. Black Drongo • It is a common resident • Black in colour , with a distinctive forked tail

  15. Indian Robin • Male are glossy black with a white shoulder patch • Females are smoky brown with grey underside • Feed mostly on insects. .

  16. Green Bee-eater • They mostly eats honey bees, wasps, dragonflies and other insects. • They live in small flocks and hunt together or solitary • Interesting roosting behaviour – they sit in closely tight flocks in green leafy trees.

  17. Purple Sunbird • Usually seen in pairs • Nectar feeding birds • Found in open forests, scrub, towns and cities. Widespread resident. Male Female

  18. Cattle Egret • A pure white bird with a stout yellow bill and greenish or blackish legs • Mostly seen in small flocks in open areas • Mostly found near to cattle they pick up insects disturbed by them • Nests and roosts in large colonies on trees. • Found in wet fields, marshes, grassland, parks.

  19. Asian Koel • A cuckoo species with bright red eyes and a hooked beak. • Males are glossy black while females are dark brownish with heavy spotting and barring • Male sing a song • Open country, towns, forests.Widespread resident. Male Female

  20. Common Myna • Brown body, black head • Bold and aggressive, noisy. Usually in pairs • Nests in abandoned tree holes or buildings. • Found around human habitation. Open country, farmlands, cities
