What is Homecoming? Homecoming is an event that is hosted at Avondale High School to welcome students and staff back who have graduated or moved on from Avondale Schools. This is a time of pride and student activities.
Homecoming Theme Avondale High School has picked “Road Trip” as the theme for Homecoming 2017. A parade and football game on Friday, October 6th are the main events to celebrate Homecoming. Avondale Middle School students are encouraged to participate in Spirit Days and attend events while following school rules.
Spirit Days Monday, October 2nd - Purple and Gold Day Friday, October 6th - Class Color Day – These colors match your class graduating color at AHS and will be the same color you will wear for Homecoming week every year! 8th Grade – GREEN 7th Grade – ORANGE 6th Grade – RED Staff – Homecoming Shirt
Homecoming Game Avondale Middle School students may go to the Homecoming game and must follow the rules: • Appropriate behavior is required and you should be accompanied by a parent or adult. • Backpacks are not allowed. • Student ID is required • Noisemakers, footballs, basketballs, etc. are not allowed. • All School Rules Apply
The Running of the Homecoming FootballAMS will welcome the AHS Cross Country Team on Friday as the run the Homecoming Football to and from all Avondale Schools.
$2 for TunesAMS students can bring $2 to Round-Up on Friday, October 6th to be able to use your personal devices for music throughout the day. Proceeds go to Youth in Government.
