Paragraph 2 ＊ Salt flat Three basic things are needed for salt flats to form: ◆Source of salts, usually from a large drainage system（排水系統）. ◆Enclosed（圍繞）basin（流域）that doesn't drain（流出）to the sea and wash away the salts. ◆Arid climate（乾燥氣候）where evaporation（蒸發）exceeds（超過）precipitation（降雨量）, leaving behind just the salts and fine silt（淤沙）. ←Pupfish
