  5. Aim of the TUSAGA-Aktif Project To determine geographic location within 3-4 cm accuracy for 24 hours in real time (RTK) all across the country and Turkish Republic of North Cyprus (T.R.N.C.). İKÜ TKGM TUSAGA-Aktif is a project that is coordinated by four major public institutions in its establishment. These institutions are; General Directorate of Land Registery and Cadastre, General Directorate of Mapping, Scientific and Technological Research Institution in Turkey and İstanbul Kültür University. HGM Project Budget :2,5 Million USD Start-Ending Date : May 2006 - July 2010 İKÜ

  27. Results When the last 3 years process is examined, TUSAGA-Aktif created 460 million dollarsaverage economic growth annually in positioning/mapping sector. It is %0,054 of Turkey GDP. And TUSAGA-Aktif saved 75 million TL annually in this sector. Socio-cultural and socio-economic effects of the TUSAGA-Aktif are not included in the study. The work to be done in these areas will show that the Economic Growth of the TUSAGA-Aktif is even higher.
