    3. What are Clinical Pharmacy Services? DEFINITION: patient-centered services that promote the appropriate selection and utilization of medications. Its objective is to optimize individual therapeutic outcomes. Clinical pharmacy services are provided by an inter-professional healthcare team through individualized patient assessment and management. These services are best provided by a pharmacist or by another healthcare professional in collaboration with a pharmacist.     5. We currently have 9 ADA recognized sites and are in the process of growing this recognition. Kerr Drug currently has the only community based ADA recognized diabetes education program. The ADA Program consists of 7 classes provided by clinical pharmacists and dieticians. We focus on optimizing diabetes related outcomes through one on one and group classes. Our focus on working with these patients is adherence to ADA guidelines as well as optimizing both pharmacologic and non pharmacologic treatments.
