  9. BES AWARDS 2009 TO DDK MUMBAI Shri Vimlesh Kumar, Engineering Assistant, DDK Mumbai bagged the Mukul N. Trivedi award for Best Technical Innovation in Engineering field of AIR & DDK for Design & Development of Software for Networking & Remote Operation of Scopes & Tandberg IRDS. Two awards were bagged by Shri M.S. Thomas, Station Engineer, DDK Mumbai & Shri ArjunVibhute, Assistant Station Engineer, DDK Mumbai, for the “Best Paper/work in the field of Antenna & Propagation relating to Broadcasting”, “Contribution towards Live coverage of Mumbai International Marathon 2009” respectively. The awards for 2008-2009 were presented by Shri Anand Sharma, Honorable Minister of State for External Affairs & Information & Broadcasting on 23rd February 2009 at PragatiMaidan, New Delhi.
