Law School Survey of Student Engagement(LSSSE) • “LESSEE” is administered by the Center for Post-Secondary Education at Indiana University • Used by 80+ ABA-accredited law schools • Including all the schools in our project • Measure change at same school over time • Comparison among schools Will be available at www.teachinglegalethics.org

  7. Indiana – Impact of 1L course on The Legal Profession started in 2009 on LSSSE, e.g.“How much has the law school …” Will be available at www.teachinglegalethics.org

Other possible outcome measures • Test of moral reasoning (Defining Issues Test –DIT) [entering 1Ls at St. Thomas have taken] • Role concept essays [pilot project use already launched at St. Thomas and Mercer] • Psychological questionnaires [prior research by Larry Krieger at FSU] • Alumni surveys [e.g. Jim Moliterno while at Wm & Mary] • Employer surveys [e.g. IBA 2010 multinational survey of managing and senior partners] • Reports from Bar re misconduct discipline of graduates Will be available at www.teachinglegalethics.org
