  2. What is Inquiry Block? Junior Level course in Elementary Education (grades k-6) • Meets from 8-3 every Tue/Thur • Combines Social Studies methods, Science methods, Integrating the Arts and Field Experience • Focuses on Lesson Development and Teaching in Practicum Sites

What is TaskStream? • Technology tool for pre-service candidate collection of work/evidence • Yearly subscription fee for individual students • Integrated system allows for attachments, communication, revision, decision making • Primary uses in IQ - • Lesson Plan development • Documentation of Web Adventure • Documentation of Learning Center

Inquiry Block History of Implementation • Pilot project Spring Semester 2006 - n=4 • Full course for Lesson Planning FA06 - n=29 • Continuation with Lesson Planning • Utilizing the rubric wizard • Addition of documentation for WebAdventure • Documentation for Learning Center • Building unit plans • Data collection for faculty decision-making

  5. Access Options in TaskStream Three roles/levels of access • Author - pre-service students • Reviewer - feedback from peers and instructors • Evaluation - instructors
