Mediator The changing of a slide Mr Mather
A quick activity • Write a list of all the features that we used in Mediator in the previous lesson. • If you complete that, then explain what those features do.
Learning Outcomes • By the end of this lesson, pupils be able to: • LO1: Recognise the features and layout of the Mediator software • LO2: Implement the use of Buttons on a Mediator slide
Before we go any further • Put your name on your homework and put it in the middle of the desk. • If Oliver and Beth (If I remember correctly, you’re folder monitors) would collect the homework for me, that would be appreciated
Today you can • Help people that sit either side of you. If they are struggling and you can help them, then do so. • You are not to get out of your seat to help people.
What I want you to do! • Today, you must insert a button onto five different slides. • Once you have done that, you must code each button to link to the next slide. • Once you have done that, you must then link a back button to the previous slide.
What could you do? • If you have managed to put forward and previous buttons onto a slide, then you could: • Insert your video – Then put in some buttons and see if you can code the buttons to stop, pause and play the video.
