  2. Customisevenus Set Simulator Delay • In Method Editor select ‘Tools’, ‘System Configuration Editor’. • 110% is approximately real time.

  3. Customisevenus Change Contents of Toolbox • In Method Editor select ‘Tools’, ‘System Configuration Editor’. • Select the step of interest and either hide it or make is visible.

  4. Customisevenus Change Contents of Toolbox • To make all the steps visible. • Select ‘Commands’, then click on the button highlighted and select ‘Set all visible’.

  5. Customisevenus Change View of Toolbox • Right click in the toolbox to access the 3 view options: • Tree View • List View • Tabs View

  6. Customisevenus Add Libraries to Toolbox • In Method Editor select ‘Method’, ‘Libraries…’. • The extra functions appear in the toolbox.

Customisevenus Add Favourites to Toolbox • Right click on the step in the toolbox and select ‘Add to Favourites’. • If a command from a library is in your ‘Favourites’ you don’t need to load the library again. Drag the step from the favourites into your method and that library will appear in the toolbox.

  8. Customisevenus Move the Toolbox • Left click and drag the title bar of the toolbox. • Leave it floating or snap to fit. • Left • Right

Customisevenus Template Deck Layouts • If you have a fixed deck layout you can create a template layout instead of re-creating it each time. • Create your deck layout, then right click on the grey area of the deck and select ‘Save As Template File’. • If you overwrite the existing file (save a copy of the original first!): • C:\Program Files\HAMILTON\Config\ML_STAR2.tpl • Then each time you create a new method your template deck will be used.

  16. Customisevenus Deck Layout View • In Method Editor select ‘System Deck’, ‘Options’, ‘Advanced 3D View Options’ then choose from: • P’X5 Based • Windows Based • Hold down mouse wheel and move mouse to rotate deck view. • Scroll mouse wheel to zoom in and out.

  17. Customisevenus Labware Categories • Make your labware easier to find by adding it to a labware category. • Open the Labware Editor. • Select ‘File’, ‘Labware Categories’. • Select ‘New Category’, enter the name of the new labware category.

  18. Customisevenus Labware Categories • Open the labware definition of your labware. • Select ‘Edit’, ‘Assigned Labware Categories’, choose the category to assign your labware to the click ‘Assign Category’. • Select ‘File’, ‘Generate Labware Category Index’. Your labware now appears in the new labware category.
