So people who lead a diet with these characteristics have a higher life expectancy than those who lead other eating habits.
It prevents many kinds of cancer. • It reduces cardiovascular disease risks. • Cholesterol’s levels decrease. • It’s a good antioxidant because of the use of olive oil. • It’s a good prevention against obesity.
Tips for healthy eating on a day: Breakfast
Bread and olive oil • Deli turkey • Coffee with milk • Fruit Yes!
Pasta with salmon and vegetables? Correct!
Mistake! Meat pizza and chips?
Failed! Thirty doughnuts?
Perfect! Chicken with salad?
Horrible! Supersize double burguer? Never!
…and we mustn’t forget it’s necessary to do a lot of sports!
“Pisto de calabacín” (Courgette Ratatouille)
Aubergines and courgettes. (1kg). • Natural tomato. (750grs) Ingredients: (For four people) • A red pepper. • A big onion. • Olive oil and salt. • Two eggs.
Wash and chop the courgettes, then, peel and chop the tomatoes. Wash and chop the pepper.
Heat oil in a saucepan and fry the onions peeled and chopped, about 10 minutes. • Add the pepper and salt for ten minutes more.
Add the tomatoes and the courgettes, and fry everything together very slowly fry, about 20 minutes. It’s necesary the courgettes and aubergines not to be broken.
Before removing from the heat, add the two eggs and mix them.
