  2. 1. Comparative analysis Porsche 911 Carrera MY´05 Vs MY´04 • In order to carry out this analysis, we will do an exercise. The following the instructions are to be followed: • The exercise will begin by forming 5 groups. In every group, booklets will be handed out with the corresponding plans to carry out the analysis. These plans consist of several tables. • The goal of this analysis is to detect the strong points of the new model compared to the previous model, and of the previous model compared to the new one, with regard to the three main areas of interest of each car: “Technical data”, “Safety” and “Equipment”. • Each group will complete the corresponding sections on models “Porsche 911 Carrera MY´05” and “Porsche 911 Carrera MY´04”.

Comparative analysis Porsche 911 Carrera MY´05 Vs MY´04 (continued) • Analyze this data and determine the strong points of each car compared to the other, completing the corresponding table of “Strong points”. • In the end, each group will determine a speaker to present the conclusions and a group discussion will follow. • In the equipment column, insert ‘S’ if the element is standard or ‘O’ if the element is optional and ‘NA’, if the element is not available as an option. • For this analysis, each group will receive Porsche catalogues.

Comparative Analysis Porsche 911 Carrera MY´05 Vs Competition. • Competitors Analysis: • The objective of this analysis is to detect the strong points of the new models compared to the strongest competitors, with regard to the three areas of interest in each car: “Technical Data”, “Safety” and “Equipment”. • Each group will complete the sections corresponding to the models “Porsche 911 Carrera MY´05” and a competitor which will be assigned by the trainer. • This data will be analyzed and the strong points of each car compared to the other will be determined, completing the corresponding table for “strong points”.

Strong points of competitor and counter-arguments. • With the strenghts determined in the competitor compared to the Porsche 911, each group shall then refute these strong points based on actual data and without diminishing the competitor. • The speaker of each group will present the results and a group discussion will be held. • Presentation and conclusions: • A speaker will present the deducted strong points based on the analysis of technical elements and equipment included in the booklets (or metaplans).
