Timed pair share • Steps • Teacher announces a topic and states how long each student will have to share and provides think time. • In pairs, partner A shares; partner B listens • Partner B responds with praise. • Partners switch roles.
Rally Coach • Steps • Partner A solves the first problem. • Partner B watches and listens, checks, coaches if necessary and praises. • Partner B solves the next problem. • Partner A watches and listens, checks, coaches if necessary and praises. • Repeat taking turns until all problems are solved. After the first two problems check with the pair opposite
