The Collocation Service Collocation NASK customers can install their hardware at the NASK Collocation and Hosting Centre. Collocation services are the lease of infrastructure or installation space in NASK's server room where customers’ equipment can be set up and operated in guaranteed, proper working conditions. Dedicated Hosting NASK also offers dedicated hosting services, i.e. the lease of NASK's own hardware (a physical server) installed at the Collocation and Hosting Centre.

(1) • Collocation • Rackable 19” cabinets up to 42U, 900mm and 1000mm deep • Collocation of standalone servers • Collocation of the customer's own cabinets • Collocation of ¼, ½ or the entire cabinet (lockable) • Administrative Access • Access to collocated devices 4 times a month (4 hours in total), 24/7/365 • Console access from a temporary working room next to the server room. (Customers have a monitor, keyboard and mouse connected to their devices and a computer with access to the Internet) • Data security • Access security and control mechanisms (Access Control List) • Separation of inbound traffic at the LAN switch level(Private VLAN)

(2) • Customer Hardware Handling • Monitoring • www, • ftp, • pop3, • smtp (e-mail), • snmp (management, password required), • icmp (ping). • “Remote hands” • restarting devices, • device startup and shutdown, • cable connection and disconnection, • changing optical discs in drives. • Failure Repair Time • Maximum failure repair time — 8 hours (applies to failures of NASK's infrastructure, in particular: power, air-conditioning, and connection failures). • Failure Notification • e-mail and SMS or • e-mail and fax

Collocation Service Packages BASIC SERVICE • Power outlet: ~230V • Access security and control mechanisms (ACL). Separation of inbound traffic at the LAN switch level (Private VLAN) • Physical access to the Centre: 4 times/month, 24/7/365, 4 hours in total • IP address: 1 IP number • Ethernet (10/100) port: 1 port • Failure notification: e-mail and SMS or e-mail and fax • Monthly bandwidth usage statistics (MRTG) • Monthly hardware network availability reports (www, ftp, pop3, smtp, snmp, icmp) • Remote hands (total: 1h/month): device startup and shutdown, cable connection and disconnection, changing optical disks in drives • Failure repair time — max. 8 h • Data backup storage space: 4GB CHARGES INCLUDED IN THE COLLOCATION SERVICE PRICE
