In a Celtic village • Homes were mostly round with thatched roofs. • Walls were made of stone, wattle and daub. • Farm animals were kept in enclosures for safety. • Villagers made huts and threshed corns etc.
Celtic everyday Life • Most Celts in Britain worked on their farms. • When day ended they enjoyed feasting, drinking, singing and story-telling. • As well as working in the farms they worked in fields. And they built and mended huts and wagons.
In a Celt’s family hut • In a family hut, stew cooks in a pot over the fire. • And the daughter weaves cloth on her loom. • A hunting dog keeps guard.
The Celt’s Gods • The Celts worshipped as many as 400 Gods. • They had Gods such as music, sky and the sacrifices Gods. • Some of the Gods name was Freya, Loki, Odin etc.
Celts Food • Most Celts in British isles ate barley, rye, wheat, and oats. • They also ate fruits+veg like carrots, garlic, wild fruits- cherries and berries, wild greens. • And they ate non veg like wild animals, fish, or possibly mutton and lamb.
